Getting There

Megavino, Megaspirits and Megabeer are taking place in Brussels Expo and are easily accessible by car, motorcycle or public transport. Brussels Airport at Zaventem is only 20 minutes away from the expo halls. International visitors who arrive by plane are thus quickly at the exhibition.

By Car or by Motorcycle

Brussels Expo has several parking areas for more than 12.000 cars. The parking lots C, M and T are situated close to the expo halls. Thanks to the direct connection to Brussels R0 Ring Road (exit 7a of 8, follow the "EXPO" signs), car park C is the most easily accessible and gives direct access to the expo halls.

A parking place at parking C costs 5€.
All the other parkings (A, B, T, M, E and Telexpo) cost 6€.

Motorcyclists are welcome for free and covered parking area A is available besides hall 1, entrance via "Avenue de l'Impératrice Charlotte".

By Train

Brussels Expo is easily accessible by train. There are high speed trains coming from London (Eurostar) and Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne (Thalys). The trains stop at the "Bruxelles - Midi" (Brussels South) train station (IATA: ZIR); from there you can take the Subway to the Expo ground (see "By Subway, tram or bus" below).

Advantageous rates are also available when you buy a combined ticket: "B-Excursion" (Code 616 = Train + Subway + Entrance). The ticket is for sale in every SNCB railway station. More information on their website.

By Subway, Tram or Bus

Thanks to the large subway (Metro), tram, and bus network, Brussels Expo is accessible wherever you come from. Busses, trams, and subways arrive in a radius of 200m from the entrance of the expo halls.

By Bicycle

As Brussels Expo is surrounded by cycle paths, it is easily accessible by bike:

  • Route from Brussels Central railway station: 7.4 km – 32 min.
  • Route from Brussels South (Gare du Midi) railway station: 8 km – 35 min.
  • Route from Brussels North railway station: 5 km – 23 min.
  • Route from Montgomery roundabout: 9.5 km - 43 min.
  • Route from the Basilica of Koekelberg - Brussels: 5 km - 23 min.
  • Route from the centre of Vilvoorde: 8.2 km – 35 min.

Brussels Mobility has published a "walk and cycle map" which features a whole host of useful information for cyclists and pedestrians alike. The map amongst others shows you the relief, existing cycle paths, routes, etc...

By Plane

Brussels Airport (IATA : BRU, ICAO : EBBR) is located in Zaventem only 20 minutes away from the expo halls and is easy accessible by car.
You can also take a taxi from the airport directly to Brussels Expo. Taxis are available in front of expo hall 5 (outside the fence) if you would like to return to the airport after your visit.

Several trains ride from the airport to the center of Brussels. Downtown subways, trams, busses and taxis are available to cover the distance between your hotel and the exhibition area.
